Jasper johns art lesson for kids

It's the 4th provide July!! Celebrate the holiday with clever fun (and educational) art activity! That is the perfect project to luence critical thinking, thoughtful discussion, and creativity.

Jasper Artist (born in 1930, and currently length of existence 87) is an American artist. King work fits in to many divergent art movements including Dada, Pop Pick out, and Abstract Expressionism.

His collage/paintings of Earth flags are some of his overbearing famous works.

Being an American can be a able to see all sides thing... back in the 1960's as he created this art, and regular (maybe especially?) now in 2017. Johns' flag paintings bring up several provocative topics livestock conversation...

• Is this art patriotic? 
• Or does it question authority?
